Rental Information
Rentals for private use of the Log Cabin can be made online or in person at Shakopee Parks and Recreation Office. Rentals will occur on a first come, first served basis with a minimum of 10-day notice. The regulations that follow are to ensure the proper use and control of the facility so all people may equally enjoy it. Permit holders are responsible for reviewing all the information provided, including the City Park Ordinance Chapter 91.
The Log Cabin is available for rent year-round. You can check current availability online or by calling the Shakopee Parks and Recreation Department. On January 2, 2026, rental dates for February 1–August 31, 2026 will be released. On August 1, 2026, rental dates for September 1, 2026–January 31, 2027 will become available.
The Log Cabin is available for groups and private rentals, daily from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Rental fees are based on user types and day of the week. Fees are charged on a per day basis and will not be pro-rated.
Monday - Thursday $50/hour (2 hour minimum) $300 damage deposit no alcohol
$500 damage deposit w/alcohol
Friday - Sunday $400/day $300 damage deposit no alcohol
(& Holidays) $500 damage deposit w/alcohol
