Tree Sale Information
The City celebrates Arbor Day each year with a tree sale open to all Shakopee residents. Pre-orders will be available Monday, March 23, 2026 through Friday, April 17, 2026, with pickup on Saturday, April 25, from 1-3 p.m. at Shakopee Public Works (400 Gorman St.).During the pre-order period, visit ShakopeeMN.gov/registration and select the "Tree Sale" tab.
Tree Sale Guidelines
- You must be a Shakopee resident to purchase a tree.
- Trees MUST be planted in Shakopee.
- Limit two trees per household, as a limited number of trees are available.
- All trees are in containers. Deciduous trees are typically 6'-12' tall with a 1-2" trunk; Conifers are 2'-3' tall.
- Call 811 two business days before you dig (identify underground hazards, free!)
- Review Tree Care planting guidance
- Trees should be planted within 24 hours of pickup.
- No warranty with purchase; no refunds.
