Four public hearings have been scheduled for the May 7, 2026 Planning Commission/Board of Adjustment and Appeals (BOAA) meeting. A hearing will be held to discuss:
- A Conditional Use Permit (CUP) request from Biff's Inc. to allow exterior storage at 1555 Maras Street on PID 279120242 & 270430181) in the I-1 zoning district.
- A Conditional Use Permit (CUP) request from M5 Built Holdings-Shakopee LLC to allow a commercial recreation - minor use for the installation of up to 4 outdoor pickleball courts and an outdoor patio at 1100 Shakopee Town Square (PID 270930010) in the B-1 zoning district.
- Ordinance O2026-013 amending the Entertainment Overlay District to include additional properties legally described as PID 275400010, 275400020, 275400030, 274760040, 275270030, 274060012 and 274060020.
- A Planned Unit Development (PUD) Amendment to allow an electronic message board sign as well as additional signage on the Canterbury Park campus at 1100 Canterbury Park Road S (PID 275400010, 274060020, 271320010 & 275270030) in a PUD and Entertainment Overlay district as well as the MR zoning district.
