Help shape the future of safer streets in Shakopee

Whether you’re running a quick errand, walking the neighborhood, biking, or commuting to work, we all use Shakopee’s streets in different ways. The City is working on a new plan to make those everyday trips safer for everyone.

Shakopee is creating its first Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Safety Action Plan. The goal is simple: reduce and prevent serious crashes and fatalities. To do that, the City is studying crash data, traffic speeds and real experiences from people who use the streets every day.

That’s where you come in as data can’t show everything.

The City wants to hear from you:
  • Where do you feel safe?
  • Where have you had close calls?
  • What areas need improvement?
Your feedback will help identify problem spots and shape solutions that work for people walking, biking, driving, now and in the future.
