Motorized Golf Cart Application

Thank you for your interest in obtaining a golf cart permit. Submitting an application is the first step in the process, but it does not guarantee approval. For details on eligibility, requirements and other important information, refer to the Golf Cart Permit information sheet.

An annual fee of $20 is required to possess a Golf Cart Permit in the City of Shakopee. Once an application is approved, applicants are required to pay the initial $20 when they arrive to pick up their permit. 

Applicants must attach a map of the proposed route to their application.
