Celebrate 9 years with membership deals this September
The Shakopee Community Center turns nine years old on Sept. 10, 2026. To celebrate, we are offering membership deals for the whole month of September!
Get 9% off an annual membership or sign up for a monthly membership and get your first month for just $9! Sign up in person at the Community Center (1255 Fuller St.) or online by visiting ShakopeeMN.gov/registration and selecting the "Membership" tab.

Shakopee Community Center Introduces a NEW Youth Access Policy!
The Shakopee Community Center is committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and developmentally appropriate environment for all guests. We set age-based access guidelines to balance youth independence with appropriate supervision and ensure staff can consistently enforce expectations. Beginning September 8th, grade level will be used as the primary determining factor for youth access and supervision requirements. This approach allows staff to utilize school IDs for age verification when government-issued IDs are not always available. Find out more about this policy on our Plan Your Visit page.
Shakopee Community Center Returns to "Regular Hours"
With summer coming to an end, the Shakopee Community Center will return to it's "Regular Hours"
Monday-Friday: 5:00 A.M.- 9:00 P.M.
Saturday: 6:00 A.M.- 8:00 P.M.
Sunday: 8:00 A.M.-8:00 P.M.
Community Center Maintenance Week
The Shakopee Community Center will close annually for planned maintenance and facility improvements. In 2026, the Community Center will be closed August 24–30 and will resume normal operating hours on Monday, August 31. During the closure, crews will complete several improvement projects, including replacing the fitness center strength equipment, upgrading digital signage at the Guest Service desk, and installing a new slide landing pad in the Indoor Aquatic Park leisure pool. These projects are part of the City's ongoing commitment to maintaining a safe, modern, and high-quality experience for our community.
