Membership Changes

All membership change requests - including holds, cancellations, and upgrades - must be submitted in writing by the 15th of the month to CCMembership@ShakopeeMN. Requests received on the 16th or later will be processed the following month.

Holds

Monthly members may place their membership on hold for full calendar months. During a hold, auto billing and facility access will be temporarily suspended.

To request a hold, please email CCMembership@ShakopeeMN.gov with the following details:

  • Your full name
  • Effective start date
  • Return date (must start on a calendar month)

You will receive a confirmation email once your hold is processed. Upon your return date, billing and facility access will automatically resume unless an additional hold request is submitted in advance.

Cancellations

All cancellations must be submitted in writing by the 15th of the month to CCMembership@ShakopeeMN.gov

Monthly Memberships:
  • Requests received by the 15th will be effective on the last day of that month.
  • Requests received on or after the 16th will result in one additional month of billing and facility access before cancellation takes effect.
Annual Memberships:
  • Annual memberships may be cancelled at any time.  Cancellations are effective on the date of written submission (unless otherwise requested) and are eligible for a prorated refund for the remaining membership term.
  • A $50 cancellation fee will apply for all annual membership cancellations.

Membership Modifications

Members may add or remove individuals from their membership at any time by submitting a written request to CCMembership@ShakopeeMN.gov. All changes must be received by the 15th of the month to take effect for the following billing cycle.

Please include the following details in your email:

  • Your full name
  • Effective date of the change
  • Full name and birthdate of each member to be added or removed

If you are changing membership types, you may be eligible for a prorated refund (if downgrading) or may incur additional charges (if upgrading). Please allow a few business days for processing. Additional facility access for new members will not be granted until you receive a confirmation email from our Guest Service team.
