Egg Hunt & Candy Grab
The egg hunt is a fun, fast-paced search where kids and their family members race around trying to find colorful eggs hidden all over the park. This event is sure to bring chaos and endless fun as kids scramble to get as many eggs and as much candy as possible. This event typically happens in March or April.

Happy Birthday America Parade
Our Happy Birthday America Parade is a festive celebration where people from across Shakopee come together to walk or ride through the west end of town. Led by our local fire and police departments, it’s a fun and lighthearted way to celebrate America's birthday with neighbors, friends, and a whole lot of red, white, and blue.

Summer Carnival
Our Summer Carnival at Lions Park is a community event packed with tons of family fun. Local businesses and vendors set up booths with games and prizes. Kids have a blast playing games and winning prizes, while a big raffle throughout the day adds extra excitement.

Spooky Family Fun
Spooky Family Fun at Huber Park is our annual Halloween-themed celebration where staff and families come together in costume for a night of festive fun! Enjoy dancing, games, crafts, prizes, and more in a family-friendly, not too spooky, atmosphere filled with Halloween spirit.

Huber Park Concert Series

The Huber Park Concert Series is a way to enjoy Free live music at the Huber Park amphitheater. The lineup is family-friendly, and if you or your kids need something extra to do, a large playground is only steps away.

Movies in the Park

Our Movie in the Park at Huber Park is a free event where families and friends can gather to watch free outdoor movies in an open-air setting. Each night features a family-friendly film shown on a large screen at dusk. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs, snacks, and bug spray to make themselves comfortable.
