The City-operated arena is home to the Shakopee High School boys and girls hockey teams and the Shakopee Youth Hockey Association. It also offers open skating and other skate programs.

Ice Rental

Open Skating
Open skating is free with a Community Center membership (must present ID) or included with the purchase of a daily pass. Skate rental daily passes are $6.
Youth Open Hockey
Youth open hockey sessions are designed for skaters who want to skate with full gear, a stick, and a puck. Skaters can work on skills or play small hockey games with friends. Admission is $6 per skater or free for Community Center members.
Developmental Hockey Times
Developmental hockey time is a public, summer session that offers skaters an opportunity to work on their skating skills either individually or through private lessons with an instructor. Fee is $11.Rules:
- All skaters (anyone taking a lesson/working on a skill) must pay before taking the ice.
- A helmet and mouth guard are required.
