Volunteers can join Tree Trust to plant trees at Scenic Heights Park Saturday, Sept. 26.

The City's Natural Resources Division is partnering with Tree Trust, an organization dedicated to preserving the Twin Cities urban canopy, to plant shade-ready trees. Tree Trust is also seeking donations to reach its goal of planting 100 trees at the park. The organization has secured funds from private donors to plant 40 trees but needs to raise an additional $7,000 to meet its goal.
