Accident and police reports may be obtained at the Shakopee Police Department. There are processing fees for both accident reports and police reports. Due to data privacy laws, some information may not be relinquished.

How to request police reports and records

Submit a Police Data Request Form [PDF] to the Shakopee Police Department:

To request in person, the police department lobby is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. You may also call 952-233-9400 to have the request form emailed, mailed or faxed to you.

The police department will notify you when you report is ready. Applicable fees may apply; see the current Fee Schedule

Arrest reports must be obtained from the Scott County Government Center, located at 200 Fourth Ave. W., Shakopee. It may take up to 10 days for a request to be reviewed.
