Established in 1994, the 18-hole disc golf course is open during daylight hours. The 6,108-foot-long course features open grassy areas, mid-sized trees and water holes. There is no cost to play the course.

Constructed in 2016, Shakopee Fun For All Playground is an inclusive playground, intended to provide accessible age and developmental appropriate activities that stimulate all children physically, emotionally and socially.

Rather than one large play structure, inclusive playgrounds use smaller, individual components designed to fit different needs and provide unique sensory experiences. This includes the use of land forms to provide contour and challenges to the park, tunnels, group activities and animals to touch and find, etc. The playground’s surface is poured-in-place rubber.

Community Supported, Community Built

The Fun For All Playground was funded primarily through donations from the Shakopee Lions Club, Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community, Shakopee Valley Lions and many other businesses, organizations and community members, who are recognized on the park's donor board. Volunteers worked with Flagship Recreation to construct the park.

Located in Lions Park, the Log Cabin is comfortable and quiet, suitable for all types of get-togethers. It features a kitchenette area, tables, chairs and restrooms. This is a tobacco free building. Register to use this space online.

The Log Cabin is available for groups and private rentals, daily from 8 a.m. to 11p.m.

SandVenture Aquatic Park has been Shakopee's favorite summer destination for more than 50 years. The outdoor aquatic park features a unique sand-bottom, chlorinated pool; 300-foot water slide and smaller drop slides; diving board; zero-depth entry; and more.

In summer 2019, the Shakopee Lions Club and Aquatix, a subsidiary of Landscape Structures, constructed an inclusive splash pad at Lions Park. The splash pad at Lions Park provides summer recreation fun for people of all ages and abilities. The splash pad is located near the Fun For All Playground and typically open Memorial Day through Labor Day.
