Park hours: 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Pets must be leashed at all times. Owners must pick-up and dispose of pet waste.
Please park in the parking lot only. Do not park on the grass or drive on park trails.
Tobacco-use is prohibited. Tobacco may only be used inside vehicles.
Do not move park equipment, such as picnic tables and benches.
Intoxicating liquor is prohibited. Beer (cans only) and wine may be consumed in city parks in the shelter area only.
No glass containers of any type will be allowed on park property.
Fires are allowed only in designated areas and must be completely extinguished before leaving the area.
Park users are responsible for cleaning up after themselves, including clearing trash from picnic area.

Shakopee has a networked system of more than 1,100 acres of parks and open space that include active, passive, developed and undeveloped park areas, as well as more than 100 miles of trail.

Park Bathrooms
Park bathrooms are typically open from May 1 through October 1. However, this timeline can vary depending on weather conditions.
Park Watch
The Park Watch program is aimed at keeping our parks clean and safe. You can help by taking an active role in reporting any disturbances or vandalism they see happening in our local parks.
Residents are encouraged to observe and report on:
- Illegal or suspicious activity - Call the police department at 952-233-9400 or 911 in an emergency
- Violations of city park ordinance
- Hazardous conditions
- Park maintenance needs
- Resource misuse
Be observant of such events noting time, place, description of vehicles and/or persons (including height, weight, clothing and direction of travel), as well as any other identifying information.

Please do not take any action to intervene or attempt to correct a problem. This is the responsibility of Shakopee Police Department.
