Hours: 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday; 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday; 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday
The Shakopee Community Center offers fitness equipment, gyms, walking track, an indoor aquatic center, indoor playground, fitness classes and meeting space. It is also home to the Shakopee Ice Arena, Ṡakpe ti Lounge and the Shakopee Skate Park.

Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express are accepted. All users must present valid picture ID. To qualify for the resident rate, you must reside within the city limits of Shakopee. Find more information about Community Center memberships.
Teen Access Tag
NOTE: Anyone under 15 must be accompanied by an adult to use the Community Center.
Teens ages 15 to 17 years old are required to obtain a free access tag for the Shakopee Community Center. This tag is required for all teens using the Community Center. Teens that are already members of the Community Center are not required to obtain an access tag.
Teens can get their tag by visiting the front desk at the Community Center with their parent or legal guardian. Youth and their parents are required to sign our behavior standards in-person.

Gymnasium
All ages will enjoy the Community Center gym space with multiple program uses. The gyms feature a cushioned hardwood floor with eight adjustable basketball hoops, three volleyball courts, pickleball courts, wall partition and a convenient entrance to the locker rooms.The gymnasium is open seven days a week. The majority of gym time is scheduled for family and individual open gym. This is a time for all ages to come in and enjoy the gym. No “team” activities or half and full courts pick-up games allowed. Individuals may play mini-games at one hoop but are not guaranteed exclusive use of the basket.

The gymnasium also hosts in-house programs, events, practices and rentals. Call the Community Center Front Desk at 952-233-9500 to confirm gym availability.
Walking Track
Overlooking the gymnasium is a three-lane walking/jogging track. The track is equal to approximately 14 laps per mile. There is no charge to use the track. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or adult. Please sign in at the front desk. Strollers are permitted to use the inside lane of the track from 10 to 11 a.m. and 3 to 5 p.m. daily.
Bring a Friend Day!
On the first Wednesday of each month, Community Center members are encouraged to bring a friend to the Community Center to try out the facility’s classes, equipment and programs – for FREE! It’s a great way to introduce your friends to all the Community Center has to offer.
