Ṡakpe ti (shock-pay-tee) means "Little Six Room" in the Dakota language. 

Hours: 7 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

The Ṡakpe ti Lounge is a place for Shakopee's active older adults to gather and socialize. The lounge includes a full kitchen, comfortable tables and chairs, television and free coffee.

Visitors can also use the Community Room, adjacent to the lounge, daily until noon. Outside of any planned events this is a great area to visit with friends, play cards, or enjoy a fun game of pool!

The Parks and Recreation Department offers a variety of programming for active older adults, including lunches, socials, games and events.
