Park Rentals and Reservations
The city’s park and trail system offers a variety of facilities and shelters. For exclusive use of a facility for a given date and time, a shelter reservation is required and can be made by contacting the Parks and Recreation office at least seven days in advance of the proposed date(s) of usage. Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Rental fees must be paid with the reservation form. Shakopee park hours are 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Begin the reservation process by clicking here.
Special use permits are required for activities such as amplified or live music, pig roasts, large barbecues, inflatables, dunk tanks, weddings, car shows, Frisbee golf tournaments or events open to the public. There may be an additional charge for these events. Contact 952-233-9500 for more information.
