The final open house for the County Highway 83 (Canterbury Road) Corridor Readiness study is scheduled 4-6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 16 at Canterbury Park, 1100 Canterbury Road, Shakopee. A brief presentation will begin at 5 p.m.
The purpose of the open house is to gather public and business input on the range of roadway and access improvement concepts under consideration:
The study will conclude in December 2015 with recommendations for future roadway improvements. These improvements will likely be phased in over time. There is potential for a few smaller improvements to occur in the near future if funding becomes available. Other larger corridor improvements will occur as development/redevelopment occurs over time.
