Easter Egg Hunt

  • Intro Text 11 a.m. at Community Center; FREE EVENT

Egg hunt posterHop to it! The annual Parks & Recreation Easter Egg Hunt/Candy Grab returns at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 19 at the Community Center and Muenchow Fields. Enjoy egg hunts by age at 11 a.m. with activities, games and prizes until 1 p.m. This free event is held rain or shine and is co-sponsored by the Shakopee Jaycees.

UPDATE MARCH 19: The unexpected snow and cold have convinced the Easter Bunny to bring all of the fun indoors for the Easter Egg Hunt. We'll make the best of it by using the gyms for the egg hunt/candy grabs. Ages 5 and under will go at 11:10 a.m.; ages 6 and up at approximately 11:25 a.m. immediately after the gyms have been reset with candy and eggs. Don't forget to bring a basket, bucket or a bag for all your treats.
