Beat the heat this summer by cooling down at a Pop-Up Splash Pad. The Parks and Recreation and Fire departments will be popping up at neighborhood parks this summer. Attendees can run through the spray of a fire hose, toss a few water balloons and play fun water games.

The first Pop-Up Splash Pad will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, June 10 at Lions Park, 1103 Adams St. These free events are geared to all ages.
