Join the City of Shakopee in breaking ground on its new City Hall building at 4 p.m. Monday, June 6 on the site adjacent to the Shakopee Police Department, 475 Gorman St.
The two-story, 25,440-square-foot building includes:
- A 58-seat council chambers with overflow seating in the lobby;
- A community/meeting room for after-hours public use; and
- Reorganized staff work spaces to improve efficiency and customer service.
Members of the City Council will participate in the groundbreaking event. The community is invited to attend and learn more about the project. Refreshments will be served.
