Tree steward training will teach you the best way to plant, prune and maintain young trees. Once you are a tree steward, you will help lead volunteers during planting and pruning events, as well as assist in other community forestry activities. Get outside, learn something new, and help ensure the survival of the trees in your community!

The free training will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6 at the Youth Building in Lions Park, 1099 Adams St. S. Register online.
