The Scott County Assessor’s Office is responsible for determining property values on behalf of the City of Shakopee. Property owners can call the Scott County assessor listed on their valuation notice to informally appeal the assessed value of their home or business. Additionally, they can appeal by attending the Shakopee Open Book meeting from 1 to 7 p.m. May 14 in the Scott County Taxation Department.
