Main Street Shakopee invites the public to enjoy a root beer float while learning more about upcoming downtown revitalization projects from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 26 at River City Center, at the corner of Lewis Street and First Avenue.

Main Street Coordinator Laura Pecaut will give a brief presentation at 5 p.m. outlining summer 2014 plans for the Main Street Shakopee program including downtown signage, beautification projects, renovation resources, promotional district maps and more. The public will have the chance to get involved by signing up to be a volunteer or Friend of Main Street Shakopee.
