Get into the Valentine's Day spirit by creating some Valentine cards for your loved ones with your grandkids at Parks and Recreation Department's Cards and Candy event from 10 to 11:15 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 10 at the Community Center.

Kids (ages 3-10) will take home a few cards and a fun craft project that they have made with a little help from grandma or grandpa. Treats will be served as well.

Each child must register ($5) using code YP 210 at www.ShakopeeMN.gov/registration. Registration deadline is Thursday, Feb. 1. Grandparents are free.
