In honor of National Fire Prevention Month, join the Fire Department at its annual Open House from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 8 at Fire Station 1, 2700 Vierling Drive E.

This free event includes fire truck tours, a bounce house, fire extinguisher training, water hose spraying and light snacks, popcorn and refreshments.
