La Agencia de Desarrollo Comunitario del Condado de Scott (CDA, por sus siglas en inglés) en asociación con Comunidades Latinas Unidas en Servicio (CLUES) ofrecerá una clase de propiedad de vivienda completamente en español. La clase abarcara el proceso de compra de vivienda y consejos para encontrar la casa adecuada para su presupuesto. CLUES llevará a cabo la clase en el salón de entrenamiento del Departamento de Policía de Shakopee el 1 de diciembre. La clase comienza a las 8:30 a.m. hasta las 5 p.m. El costo de admisión es de $40 por familia.

 

Scott County Community Development Agency has partnered with Comunidades Latinas Unidas En Servicio (CLUES) to offer a home ownership class presented entirely in Spanish. The class will cover the process of buying a home and tips for finding the right home for your budget. CLUES will hold the class at the Shakopee Police Department Training Room on Dec. 1. The class begins at 8:30 a.m. and runs until 5 p.m. Admission is $40 per family.

Submission Guidelines

Eligible organizations may request that the city promote events using city communication tools. Events must be open to the public and community oriented. Posting of event information is based on available space and available staff resources to make the posting. A request to display an event does not guarantee that it will be posted. 

Eligible organizations are government organizations; Shakopee-based, not-for-profit or nonprofit entities; and city-recognized service organizations and athletic associations affiliated with the Shakopee Parks and Recreation Department. 

City staff will not be responsible for the design of promotional materials. Ongoing or recurring events (i.e. monthly or weekly events) will not be posted. The city reserves the right to edit message information for space, clarity or content. If the city requires edits, city staff will inform the individual making the request.
