Seniors (55+) are invited to a summer BBQ from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 24 at Lions Park, 1103 Adam St. Kick up your heels with bluegrass music by Loosely Wound. Great food catered by Mr. Pig Stuff.
Event is $10/person. Register through Shakopee Parks and Recreation with code SE 724. Registration deadline is July 17.

Submission Guidelines
Eligible organizations may request that the city promote events using city communication tools. Events must be open to the public and community oriented. Posting of event information is based on available space and available staff resources to make the posting. A request to display an event does not guarantee that it will be posted.
Eligible organizations are government organizations; Shakopee-based, not-for-profit or nonprofit entities; and city-recognized service organizations and athletic associations affiliated with the Shakopee Parks and Recreation Department.
City staff will not be responsible for the design of promotional materials. Ongoing or recurring events (i.e. monthly or weekly events) will not be posted. The city reserves the right to edit message information for space, clarity or content. If the city requires edits, city staff will inform the individual making the request.
