MN Ironman Bike Ride Benefitting Free Bikes 4 Kidz

The new MN Ironman Bike Ride has a route for everyone! All routes start and end in Shakopee’s Huber Park, alongside the Minnesota River. With routes of 30, 62 and 100 miles, we have challenges that will put smiles on everyone’s faces. Our 15-mile family ride on the winding Minnesota River Valley Trail gives even the littlest pedaler a ride to remember.

The ride will start and finish in Huber Park, in the heart of Downtown Shakopee.

When you register, a fundraising page will automatically be created for you. While it’s not required, we encourage you to raise at least $100 to provide 3 kids bikes and helmets. You don’t need to stop there. You can impact a classroom, a community group, or neighborhood by raising more. It only takes $30 to provide a bike and helmet to a kid.

Submission Guidelines

Eligible organizations may request that the city promote events using city communication tools. Events must be open to the public and community oriented. Posting of event information is based on available space and available staff resources to make the posting. A request to display an event does not guarantee that it will be posted.

Eligible organizations are government organizations; Shakopee-based, not-for-profit or nonprofit entities; and city-recognized service organizations and athletic associations affiliated with the Shakopee Parks and Recreation Department.

City staff will not be responsible for the design of promotional materials. Ongoing or recurring events (i.e. monthly or weekly events) will not be posted. The city reserves the right to edit message information for space, clarity or content. If the city requires edits, city staff will inform the individual making the request.
