Join older active adults from around the area at the annual Scott County Senior Expo from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17 at Shakopee High School, 100 17th Ave. W.

Keynote speakers are author, naturalist and wildlife photographer Stan Tekiela and local humorist Joan Kennedy. Kennedy will present on “Rules of the Game of Life: As We Grow Older.”

Cost for the event is $12, which includes continental breakfast, lunch, vendor booths and a chance to win prizes. 

The event is hosted by a collaborative of organizations and providers dedicated to serving and celebrating seniors in Scott County.
