Bring your pup to Bark in the Park from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 9 at Tahpah Park, 1490 Adams St. S.
This free event features dog-friendly vendors and rescues, as well as a pup-arazzi photo booth and demos by Scott County Sheriff's Office K9 Deputy Floyd.
Bark in the Park is a crime awareness program. With so many people walking their dogs, there’s an opportunity for citizens to become more effective observers and reporters of suspicious activity. Along with law enforcement, local vendors and rescue organizations will be in attendance with giveaways and prizes. The event is sponsored by Shakopee Police Department and Shakopee Parks and Recreation.
This is a free event open to the public. Friendly reminder: All dogs must be leashed during the event.
