A ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Quarry Lake Trail will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 6. The trail, which runs from the future Quarry Lake Park, 6201 Innovation Blvd., to Gateway Drive, was constructed in 2014 with a trail grant from the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community. Light refreshments and cupcakes will be served following the ribbon cutting.
