The City of Shakopee will host a reception for outgoing City Councilors Steve Clay and Pamela Schurman at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7 in the City Council Chambers, 129 Holmes St. S., to thank them for their years of service. The reception is open to the public. Clay has served on the City Council since January 2006. He previously served on the Council in the 1980s. Schurman, who resigned earlier this year, served one term on the City Council beginning in 2010.
