Bring your pup to Bark in the Park from 10 a.m. to Noon Saturday, May 15 at Lions Park, 1103 Adams St. S.

This free event features dog-friendly vendors and rescues, as well as a pup-arazzi photo booth and demos by North Star Rescue. Registration is required at www.ShakopeeMN.gov/registration.

Bark in the Park is a crime awareness program. With so many people walking their dogs, there’s an opportunity for citizens to become more effective observers and reporters of suspicious activity. Along with law enforcement, local vendors and rescue organizations will be in attendance with giveaways and prizes. The event is sponsored by Shakopee Police Department and Shakopee Parks and Recreation.

Friendly reminder: All dogs must be leashed during the event.
