Movie in the Park: Captain Marvel

UPDATE: Due to cold weather, this program has been moved indoors to the Community Center.

(This program was rescheduled due to rain) 

Join us for a Marvel movie under the stars. We'll screen Captain Marvel beginning at dusk. Bring your lawn chair, blankets and favorite movie snacks and settle in at Huber Park. 

Arrive early, and you might have a chance to meet Captain Marvel and some of her superhero friends.

This event is subject to cancellation due to weather or public health crisis.

Submission Guidelines

Eligible organizations may request that the city promote events using city communication tools. Events must be open to the public and community oriented. Posting of event information is based on available space and available staff resources to make the posting. A request to display an event does not guarantee that it will be posted. 

Eligible organizations are government organizations; Shakopee-based, not-for-profit or nonprofit entities; and city-recognized service organizations and athletic associations affiliated with the Shakopee Parks and Recreation Department. 

City staff will not be responsible for the design of promotional materials. Ongoing or recurring events (i.e. monthly or weekly events) will not be posted. The city reserves the right to edit message information for space, clarity or content. If the city requires edits, city staff will inform the individual making the request.
