The Shakopee Knights of Columbus will present the 39th production of “The Passion of Jesus in Music, Word & Light” on March 25 & 26 with English narration, and March 24 with Spanish narration. The performance is a moving and memorable experience, as the audience accompanies Jesus, reliving his final days on earth through the story of his crucifixion and resurrection. Prelude music begins at 7:40 p.m., the production starts at 8:00 p.m., and admission is free. St. Mark’s Church, 350 Atwood Street, Shakopee. Submission Guidelines

Eligible organizations may request that the city promote events using city communication tools. Events must be open to the public and community oriented. Posting of event information is based on available space and available staff resources to make the posting. A request to display an event does not guarantee that it will be posted.

Eligible organizations are government organizations; Shakopee-based, not-for-profit or nonprofit entities; and city-recognized service organizations and athletic associations affiliated with the Shakopee Parks and Recreation Department.

City staff will not be responsible for the design of promotional materials. Ongoing or recurring events (i.e. monthly or weekly events) will not be posted. The city reserves the right to edit message information for space, clarity or content. If the city requires edits, city staff will inform the individual making the request.
