Hosanna Shakopee is hosting the annual Picnic with Police, food provided, with the Shakopee Police Department! Enjoy yard games, raffled giveaways, and community fun in the park. Also, help "Stuff a Squad" by donating school supplies to fill a squad car.

Thanks to Toys for Tots, there will be a toy giveaway along with the raffle. Each child will receive a gift from the Toys for Tots items, and each person attending will receive a raffle ticket.

This event is free with no registration required. Just stop by Lions Park between 5 and 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 14, to join in the fun.

The partners of this event are Shakopee Police Department, Hosanna Shakopee, HEART, Mi Casa and Shakopee Parks and Recreation.

Submission Guidelines

Eligible organizations may request that the city promote events using city communication tools. Events must be open to the public and community oriented. Posting of event information is based on available space and available staff resources to make the posting. A request to display an event does not guarantee that it will be posted.

Eligible organizations are government organizations; Shakopee-based, not-for-profit or nonprofit entities; and city-recognized service organizations and athletic associations affiliated with the Shakopee Parks and Recreation Department.

City staff will not be responsible for the design of promotional materials. Ongoing or recurring events (i.e. monthly or weekly events) will not be posted. The city reserves the right to edit message information for space, clarity or content. If the city requires edits, city staff will inform the individual making the request.
