The City will once again be selling former Met Stadium seats. The next sale will be from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 23 at Joe Schleper Stadium at Tahpah Park, 1490 Adams St. Seats are available for:

One seat - $25
Two seats - $40
Three seats - $55
Parts, if available - $10 each

Seats will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. No pre-sale orders. All seats are sold as is. The City will not make custom requests. Check or cash only.

Buyers are responsible for loading and transporting seats; all seats must be hauled away at time of purchase.

Submission Guidelines

Eligible organizations may request that the city promote events using city communication tools. Events must be open to the public and community oriented. Posting of event information is based on available space and available staff resources to make the posting. A request to display an event does not guarantee that it will be posted.

Eligible organizations are government organizations; Shakopee-based, not-for-profit or nonprofit entities; and city-recognized service organizations and athletic associations affiliated with the Shakopee Parks and Recreation Department.

City staff will not be responsible for the design of promotional materials. Ongoing or recurring events (i.e. monthly or weekly events) will not be posted. The city reserves the right to edit message information for space, clarity or content. If the city requires edits, city staff will inform the individual making the request.
