Shakopee Sr. High School Wind Ensemble - Huber Park Performance & Events Series

May 28 Shakopee High School WindThe Shakopee Senior High School Wind Ensemble will kick off the 2015 Huber Park Performance & Events Series at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 28.

The summer series provides free, family entertainment Thursdays and select Saturdays through August. Events include concerts, entertainment, movies in the park and more along Shakopee’s riverfront at Huber Park, 150 Fillmore St. N.

Submission Guidelines

Eligible organizations may request that the city promote events using city communication tools. Events must be open to the public and community oriented. Posting of event information is based on available space and available staff resources to make the posting. A request to display an event does not guarantee that it will be posted. 

Eligible organizations are government organizations; Shakopee-based, not-for-profit or nonprofit entities; and city-recognized service organizations and athletic associations affiliated with the Shakopee Parks and Recreation Department. 

City staff will not be responsible for the design of promotional materials. Ongoing or recurring events (i.e. monthly or weekly events) will not be posted. The city reserves the right to edit message information for space, clarity or content. If the city requires edits, city staff will inform the individual making the request.
