Scott County will be hosting an open house from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 17 at Jackson Town Hall regarding plans to build a future trail along County Roads 78 and 79.

Scott County received federal funds to construct a bike and pedestrian trail along County Road 79 from County Road 16 (17th Avenue) to County Road 78 and along County Road 78 from County Road 79 to Jennifer Lane. The trail, which is scheduled for construction in 2017, will provide a safer environment for biking and walking.
