A ribbon-cutting event for the new Huber Park shelter will be at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12 before the Movie in the Park. The shelter was funded in part by a 2012 grant from the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community. 

Following the event, the movie, "Maleficent," will be shown on an outdoor screen at dusk. Both events are free and open to the public.
