Main Street Shakopee is hosting an event, Move and Make on Main, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12 in downtown Shakopee. The event will feature:

Community booths and family friendly activities
Programming and performers
Food and beverages for sale
Lawn games and summer outdoor fun
Mural painting and art

First Avenue will be closed from Holmes Street to Sommerville Street for family, fun activities. This event is sponsored by Main Street Shakopee, a partnership between the City of Shakopee and Shakopee Chamber and Visitors Bureau, and funding for this project is provided by Minnesota GreenStep Cities.
