The Fire Department is comprised of a Fire Chief, Deputy Chief of Operations, Deputy Chief of Training, Fire Marshal, three Captains, six Firefighters, and 30 part-time Firefighters that provide fire suppression, rescue, emergency medical services, building and fire plan reviews and inspections, and fire prevention and education services to the community.
It is classified as a combination department with career and part-time personnel. In 2020, the department adopted a 24/7/365 staffing model, which has drastically reduced response times. In 2024, the department implemented 24-hour shifts staffed with a Captain, two Firefighters, and one part-time Firefighter.
The department operates out of two fire stations with three engines, a tender/pumper, one ladder, two light rescues, one heavy rescue, two brush trucks, two boats, an all-terrain vehicle, two utility trucks, and four admin vehicles.
