The Shakopee Ice Arena offers a variety of public skating opportunities throughout the year. 

Open Skating

Open to all, enjoy skating at the Shakopee Ice Arena.

Open skating is free with a Community Center membership or included with the purchase of a daily pass.

Skate Rental: $6 

Youth Open Hockey

Youth open hockey sessions are generally designed for skaters who want to skate with full gear, a stick and a puck.

Different than open skate sessions where skaters just skate.

Skaters can work on skills or play small hockey games with friends.

Admission is $6 per skater or free for Community Center members.

Developmental hockey time is a public, summer session that offers skaters an opportunity to work on their skating skills either individually or through private lessons with an instructor.

Fee is $11.

Rules:

• All skaters (anyone taking a lesson/working on a skill) must pay before taking the ice.
• A helmet and mouth guard are required.
